Strength Analysis of an Imported Irregularly Shaped Boiler

A strength analysis is performed in the paper of an imported irregularly shaped boiler; the result shows that the boiler can satisfy the strength requirements under design conditions. Further discussion shows that the situation of stay plates is the key factor for the safety running of this type of boiler. Some suggestions are also put forward on manufacture inspection and periodic in-service inspection.
