Multi-path routing protocol of node cover layer in WSN

For solve the problem of routing in wireless sensor networks,this paper proposes node-cover layer model by analyzing the single path routing protocol and the multi-paths routing protocol.The model layers the network based on the minimum hop of sensor nodes to sink node,and the sink node is the center of the layered network.The model divides the neighbors as father-nodes,brother-nodes and son-nodes.MP-NCL,proposed based on node-cover layer model,ensures the data packets transmitted down minimum hop,multiple paths and forwarded between the father-nodes in paths.The results of analysis and experiments show node-cover layer model and MP-NCL routing protocol have outstanding performances in packets delay,dissipated energy,reliability and lifetime of network.
