Optical, electrical and thermal characterization of a prototype CPV module

A prototype HCPV module developed by the French company Heliotrop has been characterized in both outdoor and indoor conditions. Heliotrop HCPV technology [1] combines high efficiency triple junction cells (≈40% efficiency) and very high solar concentration level (1024X) using Fresnel lenses as optical concentrators.
