Design of a 1,2 kW inverter building block for telecommunication supply systems

Inverters powering telecommunication loads are subject to specific requirements. System integration and system operation are one side of it. Normative requirements such as IEC and ETSI standards are commonly implied. Always looking for market advantages and competitiveness puts emphasis on high performance requirements. In this paper, the results of a technical project for a 1.2 kW inverter are presented, including circuit design, simulation and test results. Some proprietary circuits are also analyzed.
