Analyse de l'influence de la physiographie d'un bassin versant sur les paramètres d'un modèle hydrologique global et sur les débits caractéristiques à l'exutoire

Abstract This paper presents a study of the influence of the geomorphological characteristics of a river basin, on the one hand on the parameters of a hydrological model of the basin, and on the other hand on some characteristics of the discharge. For both of these aspects a statistical analysis has been applied to a set of 17 river basins from Brittany, France. Equations have been derived which makes it possible to determine the parameters of a global model for any new river basin in this area of Brittany. When a calibration of the model is impossible, at an ungauged site for instance, it is possible to compute discharge with a reasonable accuracy by this method. The analysis of the relations between geomorphological characteristics and discharge lead to equations which make it possible to compute design discharges provided that climatological data are available.
