Washing machine having vibration detection function and method for controlling washing machine using the same

PURPOSE: A washing machine with a vibration detection function, and a control method thereof are provided to improve durability, and to prevent resonance and noise of the washing machine by changing the number of rotation for a minute of a drum. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine with a vibration detection function is composed of a stub, a drum, a vibration sensor, and a controller(120). The vibration sensor is formed inside of a housing, and measures the number of vibration generated in the washing machine. The controller controls the number of rotation of the drum based on the number of vibration measured from the vibration sensor during dehydrating so that resonance is not generated.
