Research Based on FLUENT for Flow Field Visualization of Multi-functional Water Pump Linkage Valve

Using three-dimensional software Pro/Engineer to model simplified multi-functional water pump linkage valve,applying fluid dynamics software FLUENT to analyses pipe internal flow field changes of multi-pump valve stem in maximum opening,under water flow rates of 3.0 m/s.Visualization of the flow field for pressure,velocity,pressure coefficient,turbulent kinetic energy,flow lines,viscosity and other parameters,verify the correctness of theoretical calculations in textbook and draw four conclusions.These provide a reference method and basis for better performance in the laboratory to design multi-functional water pump valve linkage and the visual simulation for the study of industrial and mining drainage devices has important guiding significance.
