Control system of oil pumping unit and control method

The invention relates to a control system of an oil pumping unit and a control method. A three-phase starting winding, a three-phase electric winding and a three-phase power generation winding are inlaid in stator slots of an oil pumping unit, and the three windings are applied in a starting process, an upstroke process and a downstroke process of a motor respectively. By utilization of the control system and the control method provided by the invention, two control methods with or without a frequency converter are proposed aimed at different technical requirements to control the motor, thereby realizing a good energy-saving effect, eliminating a phenomenon existing in the prior art between a transformer and a motor that ''a trolley is pulled by a large horse'', maximally improving operation efficiency of the motor and reducing loss of the motor. A supercapacitor is utilized to store energy, the technical defect existing in a mechanical counterweight is overcome radically, and the control system and the control method have the characteristics of accurate control, rapid response, small mechanical wear and the like.
