The Filtering Methods of Bowel Sounds in Wavelet Domain

Bowel sounds signal(BS) is one of the important human physiological signals,analysis of the BS signal can then study gastrointestinal physiology and implement direct and effective diagnosis of gastrointestinal disorders.As the bowel sounds detected in clinical are always weak,containing many noise,complex and highly non-stationary,conventional denoising methods are often ineffective or poeerless.In this paper,wavelet filtering method is adopted to denoise the BS signal.By using different threshold based method,the simulations in Matlab are done.Also,the comparision and analysis are presented to valid the effectiveness of the denoising method.
