The number of road traffic fatalities is decreasing over the last 10 years in Korea. But according to an Korea road traffic authority’s report, Pedestrians accident rate of Korea is the highest among OECD countries and more than 2000 pedestrians are killed every year in a road accident. For the reason, car manufactures are trying to protect pedestrian by a lot of tests or numerical simulation studies. As the vehicle sale market becomes more competitive, pedestrian protection become more important. This study examines the pedestrian injuries during impact with the front of cars by numerical simulation and focused human body model behavior and injury risk. Influence of vehicle and pedestrian type are studied through the use of Mini, Small, SUV car with 6YO, 5 th percentile, 50 th percentile, 50 th percentile FE model
