A new approach for P wave detection using analytic signal

We propose an algorithm for P waves detection which uses the instantaneous frequency of ECG analytic signal. After the detection of the QRS complexes, and the computation of the analytic signal by FFT, the instantaneous frequency fi is deduced from the unwrapped instantaneous phase. Using appropriate windows and a linear interpolation on fi, we get a new m y Fi. In each window a matched Schmitt nigger applied to the ajusted sum of the squares of first and second dkrivatives of Fi gives a short gate which contains the P wave. Illustrations and discussion are
