AUTOGRP: Automated Grouping System User's Manual.

Abstract : AUTOGRP is an extensible computer language designed to permit a high degree of man-computer interaction in the analysis of numerical data. A command language is provided for the user which permits execution of numerous statistical computations on specified portions of a database, the option for the user to vary parameters in several of the computations, the option to rename commands, alter the syntax of commands and even program new commands in a real time mode. Special emphasis has been given to the design of a user language which is English-like, concise and unambiguous, with consistency of grammar across commands. Commands are interpreted and executed by a table driven syntax analyzer which itself can be reprogrammed while the system is in use. (Author)
