Comparison of OOK- and PAM-4 Modulation for 10 Gbit/s Transmission over up to 300 m Polymer Optical Fiber

10 Gbit/s Transmission over up to 300 m of multimode 62.5 μm core-diameter perfluorinated graded-index polymer optical fiber is compared using on-off-keying (OOK) or 4-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM-4) and feed-forward or decision-feedback equalization.
