The invention provides a method and apparatus for identifying a straw burning fire point automatically. The method comprises: according to a first latitude-longitude coordinate of a potential burning fire point, a second first latitude-longitude coordinate is obtained, wherein a distance between the latitude-longitude coordinate of the potential burning fire point and the second latitude-longitude coordinate is a preset distance; on the basis of the second latitude-longitude coordinate, a tile coordinate corresponding to the second latitude-longitude coordinate is obtained; an image graph corresponding to the tile coordinate is obtained based on the tile coordinate; classification of soil types in the image graph is carried out by using a machine learning image identification algorithm; and a target image graph of the soil type being an agricultural land type is obtained and a burning fire point is obtained according to the target image graph. With the method, a high-resolution remote sensing image graph in a potential burning fire point range is obtained according to a tile coordinate in a preset url and a mis-judgment fire point in potential fire points is eliminated automatically according to the high-resolution remote sensing image graph. Therefore, the method and system have the high efficiency and accuracy.
