Educational thesaurus of power electronics

This paper describes a novel approach to the curricula development that aims to facilitate and improve the quality and efficiency of specialists' training in the field of power electronics. A model of the learning process built on educational thesauri is proposed. Different thesaurus models are compared. The suggested procedure of the thesaurus filling is based on the solution of the common classification problem. An algorithm of the thesaurus ordering is proposed as well. An example of an application provided covers the field of power electronics.
