Tuberculous coronary arteritis with aneurysm of the ventricular septum.

A case of ventricular aneurysm in a 19-year-old boy following tuberculous coronary arteritis is described. The patient had active tuberculous inflammation of the epicardium and endocardium which extended to the anterior descending coronary artery resulting in occlusion of the artery. Ventricular aneurysm followed myocardial infarction which bulged into the outflow tract of right ventricle producing clinical evidence of pulmonary stenosis. Two other similar cases are mentioned in brief.
