Biobibliometrics: concept and application in the study of productivity of scientists

Activities of scientists (and technologists) and their social correlations may be revealed by studying the functional relationships between the biodata elements and the bibliodata elements. Biobibliometrics has been defined as a quantitative and analytical method for discovering and establishing functional relationships between biodata and bibliodata elements.
