JMASE-based Joint Modeling and Simulation of Ground-to-Air Missile

By presenting a benchmark model of a six degree-freedom (6DOF) ground-to-air intercept missile system, the basic concept and functional description of Joint Modeling and Simulation Environment (JMASE) were expounded. Then a new joint modeling and simulation methodology of both engineering and engagement-level was proposed as well as the system/subsystem models and simulation results. Simulation efforts demonstrate that by automatically converting SIMULINK models to JMASE-Compatible C++ components, then assembling, configuring and executing under JMASE, both engineering-level modeling capability of SIMULINK and engagement-level simulation facility of JMASE are obtained, which not only promotes the MS efficiency but also improves the reusability and interoperability of models.
