The method further comprises transmitting along a different network path to the target probe packet network and Internet hosts Internet hosts landmarks delay relative distance between the target and the Internet host and a host or more landmarks Internet-based network delay calculation. The method further comprises comparing the relative distance to the landmark Internet Host identify at least one closer to the target Internet host than one or more other landmarks Internet host geographic based near the target Internet host on the at least one geographic location to determine the target Internet host derived location.
