입력파형에 따른 전단형마찰댐퍼의 마찰거동에 관한 실험적 연구

When high scale earthquake was occurred frequently in the world like in China, Haiti, Peru New Zealand and etc many building were damaged followed by loses in human life. In Korea the seismic design was introduced in 1988 after many technical components and institutions are complemented. Meanwhile, energy absorbition device called friction dampers are widely used, for absorbing seismic energy effectively. Using friction dampers has many advantages, such as earthquake resisting high tension bolt can be easily adjusted and replaced, though replacing high tension bolt is a very challenging task as its disa dvantage. Therefore, in this paper to understand more this issues shear type friction dampers with different input wave forms i.e. increasing amplitudes, de creasing amplitudes and constant amplitude has been analysed experimentally for static cyclic loading to predict the qualitative hysteresis behaviour.
