A PACKAGE FOR COMPUTER DESIGN OF CONCURRENT LOGIC CONTROL SYSTEMS

This work presents a Computer Aided Design system for modelling and analysis by validation of Concurrent Logic Control Systems. To simplify the description of theses systems, Petri nets are employed. Also classical multi-level top-down and modular methodologies are used in a mixed form. After description and before implementation, a validation analysis of the autonomous Petri nets is inserted. With this analysis it is expected that most of structural and dynamic errors of the description will be discovered at an early time. The validation process is simplified when only a top-down approach is used. A special description language is proposed. This language closely follows the modelling methodology. A dialogue module implements a very simple interactive communication language.
