The effect of toxin from Fusarium oxysporum on biochemical and physiological of soybean seedling root

The vigour of root, osmolarity of cell, protein content, soluble sugar content and praline content were studied after seedling root of soybean were treated by toxin from Fusarium oxysporum. The results showed that F. oxysporum toxin solution could be harmful to seedling root of soybean, could inhibit vigour of soybean root, the higher the conductivity of cell membrane was after soybean roots were inoculated by toxin, the protein content of resistant variety decreased and the protein content in young root of susceptible variety increased within 6h after treatment, after 12h, the protein content of the two varieties were decreased rapidly, the content of soluble sugar decreased rapidly in two varieties, too. The content of proline were increased significantly and it was much higher in susceptible variety than in resistant one.
