Feedback Theory and the Improvement of Self-taught Examination Score Report

As the key link of self-taught educational evaluation,test score report is in responsible for delivering the result of assessment.Test score report,as a type of academic feedback,can promote students improvement of academic achievement by feedback intervention.This article describes the situation of self-taught examination score report,gives an introduction of feedback theory as well as its research paradigm.Achievement gained in feedback research can provide guidance for the reform of self-taught examination score report.The author proposes that self-taught examination score report must provide feedback as follows:specific learning standard, elaborated diagnostic information,advices about learning strategy,inserted questions and positive feedback valence,so as to promote learning of self-taught learners.
