물질회수효율에 따른 철도차량 재활용 가능율 산정 연구

A rolling stock’s product and service life is relatively long compared to the other transport mode fulfilling the same function, thus it is often considered as a greener mode. Environmental impacts from its manufacturing and disposal, however, are not negligible since the rolling stock, consisting of tens of thousands of parts and components consumes a lot of resources and remains to be treated at the end-of-life stage. Therefore, the end-of-life treatment including recycling is one of major issues for a more environmental-friendly rolling stock. The objective of this paper is to calculate the recyclability and recoverability of rolling stock (G7 passenger car) following the international standard. For the recyclability and recoverability of the target rolling stock, this study used the national level data to enhance the credibility of the calculated result.
