It is well established that innovation can be either technology-pushed or market pulled. However, the interest of innovation has been changed in multisciplinary research area. The study extracted research themes of innovation from the literature review in innovation management and design management. The trend of research themes identified by grouping in themes. This study classified the cases that achieved innovation and explored new innovation area from not classified case. It is innovation from synchronization between existing product platform and needs from socio-behavioral trend. It can establish new innovation area and needs additional study for concrete process.
