FHA-based voltage gain function with harmonic compensation for LLC resonant converter

This paper discusses how to improve the accuracy of the gain expression obtained from the First Harmonic Approximation (FHA) for LLC resonant half bridge converter design. By reviewing the approximation, a gain compensation method is developed to improve the accuracy based on harmonic compensation. Theoretical analysis, computer simulation and bench test are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
