Stress-Corrosion Defects Fatigue Development in Compressor Station Output Gas Pipeline

This article examines the influence of operational factors on the development of stress-corrosion defects in accordance with the statistics of its detection on different parts of the gas transportation industry equipment. Results of the operational mode analysis and research samples of stress corrosion cracking of the compressor stations output pipeline are given. Results of X-ray microanalysis of the products of corrosion and cracking of the metal in the zone are shown.
