Store and forward Teledermatology for epidermal necrolysis management: Experience of a French reference centre

Dear Editor, By facilitating access to dermatological expertise, Store and Forward Teledermatology (SFTD) enables reference centres to remotely diagnose and manage rare diseases.1 Epidermal necrolysis (EN), including Stevens– Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic EN (TEN), is a lifethreatening condition that is mainly drug induced.2 We investigated the quality of requests and management of suspected EN sent by SFTD to our dermatology department. This singlecentre retrospective study included all SFTD requests received in our dermatology department, which is a reference centre for severe drug reactions, for a suspicion of EN between January 2016 and December 2020. Records with missing clinical data or photographs were excluded. Received: 26 April 2022 | Accepted: 16 August 2022
