Hybrid Model Design of Multi-Scale Map Data on Embedded GIS

How to organize multi-scale map data will greatly influence an embedded GIS performance.Due to much difference between PC and embedded platforms in hardware resources,the simple dynamic model and the static model which are widely used on PC are unfit for an embedded system.Integrating these two models,this article puts forward a hybrid model to organize multi-scale maps,which can greatly decrease map data redundance and improves response speed.
