Technical summary on the operation of new type high efficient and energy-saving cyclone drying plant for PVC

This paper introduced a new type drying plant,ie a complex energy-saving cyclone drying plant,which was jointly designed by Tsinghua University and Design and Research Institute of Jiangsu Northern Chlor-Alkali Group Company.Compared with cyclone drying plant,this new type cyclone drying plant had the following advantages:the volume of drying bed was only 20%～30% that of cyclone drying plant,the volume of cyclone drying tower decreased by 20%～30%,the investement of equipments could save 0.3 million RMB$,the operation cost could save 0.5 million RMB$ (based on 50 kt/a PVC),the energy-saving effect was good,the operation flexibility was large,the control was simple and had no bad effect on the quality of PVC resin.
