UWB radar signal DOA estimation based on ambiguity functions

Accordering to the linear time-frequency feature of linear frequency modulation(LFM) ultra wideband(UWB) radar signals,a direction-of-arrival(DOA) estimation algorithm based on the ambiguity function is proposed.It is proved that the new approach is better than conventional wideband algorithms by theoretic analysis and computer simulation.Moreover,the relationship between cyclostationary algorithms and the new algorithm is also derived.Finally,how to use cyclostationary algorithms to estimate impulse UWB radar signal DOA's is introduced.
