A Dynamic Model on Volatile Organic Contaminant Transport in Soil Vapor Extraction

Based on porous seepage theory, a numerical model for volatile organic contaminant transport in soil is established with consideration of gas density to pressure relations. Laplace transform and traveling wave transform are adopted to get analytical solution in accordance with character of the nonlinear numerical model. The solution is convenient for practice use and has good precision and reliability. The solution is helpful for forecasting diffusion of volatile gas in soil and pollution control.
