Method, device and system for route transmission

The embodiment of the invention provides a method, device and system for route transmission. The method comprises the steps that a router client side receives messages containing parameters of a shadow router sent by a main router of the optimal routing, the message supporting automatic setting up of a BGP session function with the shadow router is sent to the main router, the shadow router is a router providing non-optimal routing, the router client side sets up a BGP session with the shadow router according to the parameters of the shadow router, the router client side receives the non-optimal routing corresponding to the route plane where the shadow router is located released by the shadow router on the set BGP session with the shadow router and/or releases the optimal routing to the shadow router. According to the method, device and system, a BGP session with the shadow router does not need to be configured on each router client side manually, configuration workload is reduced, and efficiency of deployment of the shadow router is improved.
