The railway station yard network topology model modeling method based on the image recognition comprises the following steps of (1) collecting a railway station yard design drawing through an image collection device, converting a drawing of a paper network diagram into data files which can be read and stored by an image processing device, and temporarily storing the data files on the image processing device, (2) carrying out preprocessing on the collected image files, (3) using an arc search operator and a node recognition operator to carry out alternate operation, recognizing geometric equations and characteristics of all modes and arcs in images, storing the geometric equations and the characteristics, (4) using a topological relation statistics operator to process the geometric equations and the characteristics of the nodes and the arcs, and (5) storing the geometric characteristics of the nodes and the arcs, and the topological relations of the nodes and the arcs to form standard data files, and forming a model file which can be used for related scientific research.
