Publisher Summary This chapter discusses performance evaluation of solar home systems after more than 10 years of operation in Indonesia. It evaluates evaluate and analyze performance of the system, degradation of photovoltaic modules, battery charge regulator capability and battery lifetime. The chapter highlights that the performance evaluation of solar home systems was conducted after 11 years installation of the solar home systems. In this investigation, 79 solar home systems has been measured and characterized. The result showed that most of the photovoltaic modules are still in good condition, about 25% of battery charge regulator is broken and most of battery has been renewed. Furthermore, in order to protect the batteries, most of the battery charge regulators have to be readjusted and a periodic monitoring of the BCR setting has to be established. Finally, the users should be aware in management of the energy used, so the lifetime of the systems can last longer.
