The dosimetry of small ultrasonic beams

Abstract The various systems developed at Bristol for measuring the power of the small ultrasonic beams used for the treatment of Meniere's disease are described. These systems include calorimetric and radiation pressure techniques which agree to within 6%. A large portion of the material was presented in a paper read by the first named author at the conference on Ultrasound as a Diagnostic and Surgical Tool, held in London in December, 1962
