Analysis and design of supporting steel frame of a preheater

Upright preheater is one of main equipments for producing activated lime,and its supporting steel frame is critical to guarantee the safety and normal operation of the preheater.Based on the design requirements of the supporting steel frame of a preheater,the paper carried out the checking computations for the design of supporting steel frame,and detailedly analyzed the loads on the frame and their distribution.Finally,the safety and deformation of frame were verified precisely.The study offers reliable references for the frame design.
