An Op Amp transfer circuit to measure voltages in battery strings

Abstract To measure the individual voltages in a series connected battery pack, each measurement must be transferred to a common reference level. A transconductance amplifier using an operational amplifier (Op Amp) provides a convenient circuit that is both simple and cost effective. This technique is shown to be more accurate than previous methods and it avoids most of the component matching requirements
