Effects of radio frequency radiation

This chapter deals with those known effects of radio frequency radiation on people that are generally accepted by researchers in the field in a way that can be understood in general principle without the need for specialist knowledge. This chapter can be studied in two parts: first, covering the known individual aspects of the exposure of human beings to RF radiation and giving a brief coverage of the beneficial medical uses of RF radiation; and second, with some accidents and incidents which have occurred to people working with RF radiation with a view to learn the way to deal with such incidents and the way to avoid them. The chapter defines and quantifies standards of safety management in reference with radio frequency. The chapter provides methods for preventing accidents by giving an exposure to the factors on which the prevention dependents.
