Fractal strokes

This paper proposes fractal strokes, to make fractal computation as controllable as ink. A fractal stroke is a skeletal stroke that recursively copies, recolors and distorts its neighboring image and then paint on the canvas. Fractal strokes can generate self-similar textures. On one hand, the general visual attributes of a stroke are decided by the user. On the other hand, a stroke's fine details depend on its context. Many modifications can easily been made so that fractal strokes can probably generate various new results beyond the scope of traditional artistic techniques.
