The Development and Validation of Fast Numerical Method of Simulating Wet Steam Flow

A fast numerical method of simulating turbine nucleating flow is developed and calibrated. Analytical limiting subcooling degree, transition function and tabular steam properties are applied. The agreements between calculations and experimental data are well. The developed method applies some new and unique techniques and is contributed to be a tool of fast analysis and industrial design for wet steam flow.Copyright © 2002 by ASME
