Apparatus and method for supporting duplication in multi-antenna base station

An apparatus and a method for supporting duplication in a base station using a multi antenna are provided to enable an integrated RF module configured per each sector to process two or more different sector signals, thereby serving at least one path even when an error occurs in an arbitrary RF module. Channel cards(400,402) of a multiple number of K generate M number of data which will be transmitted to M antennas(412-1,412-2,412-3,412-4), and exchange a part of the M number of data with the other channel cards. The channel cards of the multiple number of K configures a predetermined frame by using the test part of the M number of data and data received from the other channel cards, and provides the configured frame to a corresponding RF(Radio Frequency) module. RF modules(406,408,410) of a multiple number of K extract M number of data in a frame from a corresponding channel card among the channel cards, and perform RF processing of the extracted M number of data before feeding the RF processed data to an original section/antenna.
