H/sub /spl infin// control for a general jump system with application to sampled-data systems

We consider H/sub /spl infin//-control for a class of jump systems which contains, as a special case, sampled-data systems with zero-order hold. We solve the H/sub /spl infin// problem using two Riccati equations with jumps. We discuss an application to sampled-data systems.
