Long-reach and high-splitting-ratio 10G-EPON system with N:1 OSU protection

We successfully demonstrated 41.3-km-reach and 128-split 10G-EPON system with dualrate semiconductor optical amplifier using commercial access network infrastructure. N:1 PON protection was also applied for the system in order to cost-effectively improve system reliability.
