Apparent power and power factor definitions for polyphase non‐linear loads when supply conductors present different resistances

A time-domain based method of defining the apparent power is presented. It is a generalization of the De-penbrock method to systems whose supply conductors have different resistances. The so defined apparent power can be split into orthogonal components and it is coherent with the physical meaning of the power factor.
