Approach to an adaptive control system of voltage (current) sharing uniformly of GTOs working in series (parallel)

Adaptive control theories are used here to approach the problem of voltage/current sharing uniformly of GTOs working in series/parallel. The parallel frame of a model reference adaptive control system is adopted. The mathematical model is built up from a GTO's characteristic curve which is given by manufacturers. A method of estimation of GTO parameters is determined. Finally, the control system is designed and an adaptive control rule is searched using Lyapunov theory.
