MAINTENANCE SPARE PARTS PLANNING WITH UNCERTAIN FAILURE RATES

This paper present a planning of the spare parts supply chain in organizations that use and consider a k-out-of-n: G system. The system works until at least k element work. The failure rate of the element based on historical data, therefore uncertainty is inherent in the information. The system of equation are established and the exact equations are sought for the parameters like MTTF and probability of system working. The model can be expressed in constant, increasing or fuzzy failure rates. The numerical examples are given for illustration.
