dSPACE based controller for active power filters

This paper proposes a new dSPACE based controller for active power filters. A new simple digital controller based on the feedforward control strategy for active power filters is developed to compensate the current harmonics generated by nonlinear loads. This controller is designed and implemented in a systematic way, i.e. from digital simulation directly to hardware implementation. A laboratory prototype is developed for experimental verification.
