The advent of the fourth industrial revolution and AI is expected to change the history of books and libraries. In a rapidly changing environment, it is necessary to seek strategies for preserving books and libraries. As advanced research for seeking strategies for preserving books and libraries, the issues of E-books in the newspaper are analyzed using two methods and checked issues related to the current E-book. The first method is the content analysis and the second method is the keyword analysis using the Hangul morpheme analysis. From January 2014 to December 2016, a total of 95 newspaper articles were selected from 6 newspapers(Chosun, Joongang, Hankyoreh, Kyunghyang, Etnews, and ZDnet Korea). As result of analysis, an average of 8 articles was written on four types of daily newspapers(Chosun 8 cases, Joongang 9 cases , Hankyoreh 8 cases and Kyunghyang 7 cases) and an average of 31.5 articles was written on two type of IT newspapers(Etnews 46 cases and ZDnet Korea 17 cased) because IT newspaper have narrow target area than the daily newspaper covering various topics. In 2014, when more than half (56%) of articles were written over the whole period from 2014 to 2016, it is time when the interest of media related to E-books was the highest. The articles about E-books is mostly written on september and october than May because of the timeliness of the newspaper. The articles about E-books are handled in various fields such as economy, international, culture, society, opinion, people, IT. In addition, a total of 92 keyword excluding E-books were calculated for keyword extracted through Hangul morpheme analysis. In the e-book article, the paper book was mentioned 14 times, the most, and it can be known that there is a continuing competition between e-books and paper books. Other than that, it is appearing keyword about companies providing E-book services like Apple (13), Amazon (8), Yes 24 (4) and keyword about publication like content (10), digital (6), Publication (5), book (4), Epub 3.0 (4). Also, using the keyword Web novel (4), you can confirm that the Web novel is emerging in the E-book market. This study is analyzed the newspaper article about E-books using 2 method which are content analysis and keyword analysis through the Hangul morpheme analysis. These methods can be checked overall issues but it is difficult to check detailed issues. Therefore, it will be performed the keyword network analysis and categorized process of issues about E-books in newspaper article as a follow-up study.
