Design and Implementation of Standby Power Supply Auto-switching Based on PCC

Auto-switching is important secondary equipment in power plant, the reliability of which has direct influences on power supply. In order to meeting the needs of computerization, internetization, operability and reliability of auto-switching, a solution of new type of auto-switching based on PCC came into being. The paper introduces hardware designs, principles and several key techniques of such device, applying PCC as its controller. It utilizes quick auto-switching terms through powerfulness of computer and guarantees consistent power supply by executing corresponding auto-switching terms according to the modes of operating in different power plant.
